Support Riley Goot’s Family, After Tragic Loss

A nightmare for sure, the unthinkable has happened to this West Babylon community. In the early morning of September 21, 2024, a terrible motor vehicle accident occurred, where another vehicle failed to stop at a red light, has turned countless lives upside down. As a result, we lost an amazing young man, a ray of light, Riley Goot, only 18 years old, who just graduated last year. His family is devastated. Riley was an amazing big brother, friend, son, student, and athlete. Anyone who knew Riley knew how truly awesome he was, and he will be missed.

I originally started this GoFund me to help the Goot family with any funeral or wake expenses, however is was recently brought to my attention by Riley’s mother that a very generous organization has offered to pay for all funeral expenses. However, it’s been decided to still give the donations to the family to use for anything they need to get through these difficult times, therepy, time off from work, their mental health in general. I just wanted to be as transparent as possible.

Everyone in the community has been amazing, again thank you all for their generous kind donations for the Goot family.
