Support Riveter Staff Affected by Floods
Donation protected
The family of the Riveter’s owner, Elizabeth Jackson, have opened this GoFundMe to ask for financial support for the 52 staff & instructors whose livelihood has been removed due to the historic floods from Hurricane Helene. All money raised will be distributed directly to the non-owner Riveter crew to help them cover their immediate expenses.
Hurricane Helene has brought devastation across Western North Carolina and the Riveter was in this path, covering the Riveter in 3 feet of toxic flood waters. The Riveter was built as a community hub with humans at the center of the mission. The Riveter’s staff and team has focused their immediate energy on serving and providing emergency relief to the surrounding community while they await professional remediation to address the extensive damages to the property.
With the Riveter reopening timeline unknown, this simple act of generosity can help give immediate relief and support to those at the Riveter who have worked so tirelessly to cultivate this beloved community of outdoor enthusiasts from across the region and country.

The Riveter was the nation’s premiere indoor climbing gym, bike park, yoga studio, and bar located in the heart of Western North Carolina and nestled on a hill just above the French Broad River with beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
