Support Rob Visda Through His Battle with PKD
Donation protected
During the July 4th weekend, our friend Rob Visda was admitted to the hospital with heart complications related to his Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). Due to irregularities with his heart rate and rhythm, he was defibrillated multiple times. Doctors discovered fluid surrounding his heart, causing it undue strain. Rob had to undergo emergent surgery to drain the collection of fluid. He currently remains in the ICU, recovering from this traumatic event. Additionally, Rob has frequented the hospital and emergency room since April, preventing him from working. We are asking for donations to assist with the financial hardship caused by these recent events for loss of wages and medical expenses.
Rob is a loving husband, amazing father to Ayden, son, friend, and Peace Officer with the State of California. He is on the transplant list for a new kidney with UCSF Medical Center and has been on dialysis for the past six years. Once fully recovered, we hope to continue to move forward in finding a donor match. If you are blood type O and are interested in helping with this cause, please visit https://www.kidney4rob.net/ for more information.
On behalf of the Visda family, we thank you for your continued love, support, prayers, and generosity during these challenging times.
