Support Robert and Xerxes After Bell Collier Village Fire

Hi everyone,

On July 27th, a devastating fire occurred at the Bell Collier Village apartment complex in Atlanta, GA, displacing many residents, including our friend Robert Herring and his cat, Xerxes. The fire left them without a home and stripped Robert of his livelihood as a self-employed general contractor, as he no longer has access to his essential tools and resources to continue working.

Robert is a hardworking and dedicated individual who has always been passionate about his work. As a contractor, he has helped countless people build and improve their homes, pouring his heart and soul into every project. Xerxes has been a constant source of companionship through all of life’s ups and downs. Robert was able to reunite with his cat after two days of being prohibited from entering the building and receiving little to no help from available solutions, including building management.

We’re looking to raise $10,000 to help Robert and Xerxes get back on their feet. This amount will cover an anticipated three months of essential expenses, including:
