Support Robert Rhodes' Critical Medical Care

Title: Seeking urgent financial support to help Robert Rhodes and children.

Introduction: Robert collapsed at home from severe blood and lung infections, and he has no health insurance and is in life threatening critical condition at Wesley Hospital.

Details of the Emergency:

Robert is a father, brother, uncle, son, teacher, and friend who has touched the lives of so many. Robert was at home alone when he collapsed on Monday December 1st and discovered December 2nd. An ambulance transported Robert to the Wesley ER. The doctors have identified five different types of infection including E.-coli in both his blood and lungs. After the initial diagnosis, Robert was admitted to the Wesley Wichita Intensive Care Unit.

He has been in the ICU fighting life-threatening infections which are overwhelming the organs in his body. The ICU team has done a wonderful job monitoring and treating the symptoms. He has been sedated and on a ventilator since his arrival to try and help his body recuperate from the onslaught of infection.

Financial Needs: Since Robert does not have health insurance and is unable to work in the foreseeable future , we are seeking to raise $50,000 to support Robert and his family in this time of need.
