Hi Family and friends. My name is Rudy Gutierrez Jr. One of the most amazing people I have had the pleasure of having as a friend, sadly passed away due to natural causes caused by multiple health issues he had.

Robert "Robbie" "Rob" Thompson was an amazing person, human, man, friend, son, brother, nephew, and the list goes on and on.

He was extremely passionate and talented in filmmaking, art, movies, collectibles, and being a wonderful friend to so so many.

Robert absolutely loved to draw and write and his work was incredible.

Today, I'm raising funds due to the sudden loss of his life to help his family with his funeral expenses. I've been in contact with both his Aunt Dawn and Aunt Kim. We are asking for $3000.00 to help with just that. The funeral expenses break down to this:

The funeral home: begin the process and completion of his cremation. Then getting urns to his family. $2150
Family expenses to have them travel to Indiana - where his parents are buried - so they can spread his ashes with them. $950

Every dime of this goes to his family, and to cover the funeral arrangements needed. Any additional past the goal will go to Robert's family. We have a short window here and need to get this done as soon as possible. I know times are rough for everyone but we have to send Robert off with all the love we can because he deserves it so much.

Now just a little about my relationship with Robert. We met on a movie in Louisiana 4 years ago. We instantly connected. Over the years we had numerous conversations almost daily about life, politics, religion, shows, wrestling, movies, the industry, you name it.

He loved giving me crap about being a cowboys fan lol

To Robert - It eases the pain of your loss slightly, knowing that you are not suffering anymore. I just want you to know that I know you're at peace and back with your parents. I want you to know that you touched my life, and countless others. I've spoken to your family and they miss you dearly.

I miss you so much. I will never forget our conversations. I will never forget your humor and wit. I'll never forget your passion. I'll never forget your love for family and friends.
