Support Roberts Fight Against Glioma Brain Tumor
Donation protected
Hello. First I want to thank everyone who’s reading this and also thank everyone who is able to help during this very uneasy time. I never knew I would have to make a Go Fund Me for someone so close to me. My name is Elissa Sanchez and this is my older brother / Best Friend Robert Nehemiah Sanchez (some of you may know him as “Chito”). Also younger brother to Steven Jr. Sanchez and son of Steve Sanchez and Margarita Alcaraz.
Within the past week our family has received some very heavy news. We have recently found out that Robert has a tumor called Glioma on the right frontal lobe of his brain. Doctors currently don’t know if it is a heavy or light grade Glioma. For months he has had excruciating headaches and couldn't understand why. It is not assured yet if it is cancerous and pray that it is not. He is currently in the hospital and is fighting to receive the best direction with the next procedure. Doctors have appointed him a neurosurgeon and It is certain he will undergo brain surgery on the 23rd of December.
My brother Robert Nehemiah has such a big heart! And over the years he has exceeded himself by being a very supportive sibling, son, nephew, grandson and cousin. He is the most selfless, kind hearted, talented, loving individual despite all he has been through. He is a true joy to be around, especially when he imprints others to see a unique perspective of life. He has given so much of himself to others & their needs and unfortunately, now I believe that the tables are turned, we do the same for him!
It is very hard to ask for help but we ask the community, family and friends to help fundraise money for him in these trying times. 100% of funds will go to covering rollover medical costs and living expenses as Robert is currently in the hospital & unable to work. Once surgery is appointed and finalized, we know it will take months for Robert to fully recover. We do not know the outcome of this surgery and whether or not it will affect his vision/motor abilities, which is why we seek such support. This is a difficult new chapter for my family and would truly appreciate any financial help to alleviate the needed medical cost and financial support for my brother Robert to sustain his life.
I believe as a unit, we can share Robert's story and intersect with individuals who have the ability and abundance to help this timely sensitive situation. Any bit of help can go a long way. Every share can potentially make more impact than you know. As the youngest sibling in my family I will do everything in my power to get my brother's story out and do my ultimate best to alleviate this financial burden.
Pico Rivera, City of Commerce, Bell Gardens, Los Angeles, Whittier, Downey, Long Beach, East Los Angeles, Bellflower, Rosewood Park Elementary School, El Rancho High School, Bell Gardens High School, Long Beach State University, El Monte, Rosemead and Montebello are the places he’s been heavily involved with as a community member. He has given so much of himself to these places, it’s only right we take action as a unit and community to make an impact for Robert. Thank you so much again for reading. Peace and Blessings
Sincerely,
