Support Rob’s Medical Expenses

Four weeks ago today, our son Rob was the victim of a drive by shooting while on his way home from work. As Rob proceeded to advance on a green light, a passenger in the left turn lane coming off of E-470 onto Parker Road sprayed 3 bullets into the cab of Rob's truck. Rob was unaware of this and thought his e-Cigarette battery had exploded as he had heard accounts of this on the news. Fortunately, Rob was at an intersection in front of the local hospital  in our town and immediately drove himself to the ER for assistance with blood rushing from his hand. Rob was still unaware that he had been shot. As with any occurrence of this nature, the hospital went  into "lock down" mode due to an active shooter still being on the loose. The police interrogated Rob where, after approximately 45 minutes, had discovered he had been shot (by the hospital personnel notifying him of this).  Rob's life has significantly and drastically been altered.  While his family and friends are thankful that only his hand has been affected (shattered bones, 7 pins, etc.), Rob's near future will now consist of,  at least 3-surgeries to begin removing the pins, countless  physical therapy appointments and mental healing as to this senseless act.  We appreciate the well wishes and ALL the support of our family and friends thus far and hope you keep Rob  in your prayers for a speedy and full recovery.  Thank you for your time and thoughts!
