Support Rocky's Recovery: A Journey of Hope

My name is Ashley Dixon. On my way to work on Tuesday, July 23rd, I passed a wide spot in Prince, WV and saw an emaciated dog. Two hours later, I finally got him in my truck. I had already called my vet and they said I assume financial responsibility if I bring him in. I did so without hesitation, without even thinking of potential bills.
It has been a roller coaster ride. So many scares, but this sweet boy keeps fighting. He had to have a portion of both sides and the front of his tongue essentially amputated. In the process, they discovered a string deeply embedded around the base and anchored somewhere in the intestines or stomach. Exploratory stomach/intestine surgery was too risky for him, so they placed a feeding tube.
We are potentially looking at a trip to VT or OSU for an endoscopy. Tube feedings for the foreseeable future. Help us #FightLikeRocky and if you can donate even a dollar, it's so greatly appreciated.
