Support Rocky's Rescue and New Beginnings

Hello, My name is Julie.

In July, I visited an indigenous village in Columbia on a Volunteer trip and fell in love with the most adorable street puppy named Rocky. Rocky lives in the village and is severely malnourished. Because Rocky is the smallest puppy, he has to compete for every morsel of food. I am Trying to rescue Rocky and get him to the United States where he can thrive. I have Found a veterinarian near the Bugre Village that will go get Rocky from the village, feed him care for him and transport him to Bogota to a rescue organization. Once at the rescue, we will have to pay for extensive testing and paperwork to get him approved to be sent to the United States. This process could take up to 3 months and the expenses are likely to cost approximately $3,000. Prior to my arrival, Rocky had never been kindly touched. Once I pet him, he loved it and melted into my hand. He has an amazing personality and just wants to be with people. This puppy is so special and time is of the essence to save his life.
