Support Roger Bowen's Family in Their Time of Need

My name is Roger Bowen. I'm reaching out to GoFundMe because I'm in dire need of help for my family. 2 1/2 years ago, my wife of 29 years suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. They had to remove her skull plate for months. We almost lost her, but she's alive, though she lost the ability to do things and live as she did. We were both working together, making roughly $10 an hour apiece. The day this happened, I was told to get my tools out and lost our job after 3 years. But, the next day, I was hired by a rental company as a maintenance man, and this is the best job I've ever had.

When her stroke happened, the vehicle I had was on its last leg. I got a high finance deal on a 2005 Ford Expedition for $6000. Now, 3 years later, the transmission went out. I'm in the process of buying a vehicle from my neighbor for $6500. A reliable, well-taken-care-of vehicle. I have paid $1400 on it so far and expected to have it paid off and in my possession by June. Today I went to go out, and the transmission in my Expedition finally gave out. My daughter is 26 and takes care of her mother for me while I work. We were slowly getting out of the hole but still living week to week. If I don't work, we will eventually lose everything that I've worked to provide for us over these last couple of years. I have no savings and no one to help. I have $5100 left to pay to get this other vehicle and then like another $300 for title transfer, tag, and insurance. I didn't want to ask for help, but I'm swallowing my pride because my family is more important. Thank you to all who see this and may help. I know everyone has problems and so many worse than me.
