We are heartbroken to share the passing of our father, Roger Solis Perez Sr. — a man full of life, love, and kindness. If you knew our dad, you knew he was the life of the party — always cracking jokes, making people laugh, and bringing everyone together. He had the biggest heart and the friendliest spirit, always willing to lend a hand or brighten someone’s day.

Born in the Bronx, New York, Roger was a talented performer, a devoted father, and a true friend to many. Whether he was on stage acting and singing, riding his motorcycle down open roads, or cooking a big meal for family and friends, he did everything with love and heart.

Our dad lived a life full of adventure and connection. He never met a stranger — everywhere he went, he made friends. From his early days in theater and sports to his career in human services and substance abuse rehab, he left a mark on every person he crossed paths with.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help raise money for his funeral and burial costs. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward giving our dad the proper farewell he deserves and honoring the beautiful legacy he leaves behind.
