Romain Mpoko - Help Support His Family in Their Time of Need

Hello, my name is Catherine and I’m starting this fundraiser for my cousin whose life was tragically cut short. Romain Mpoko was a kind and respectful man with a sweet soul. To his family his nickname was Innocenty (after his father), to his friends he was Rome. He was sensitive, caring, and loved making people laugh! He loved life! He loved his family and friends! He should still be here with us now!

Romain went missing last Sunday 4/21, near the Baltimore National Aquarium around 11:20pm after leaving his job at the Sagamore Pendry, he was heading home towards the direction of City Hall. Unfortunately he never made it home and a missing person’s report was filed for him. Romain was missing for 7 days before his lifeless body was pulled out of the National Harbor. The police are still searching for evidence of foul play but have not yet found anything. We are patiently waiting for answers, all we know is that he was last seen with his coworker (who shall soon be named but currently is not cooperating who sharing information).

As we wait for more information, we are asking the public to spread the word and donate what they can to support the memorial and funeral costs so that his family does not have to go out of pocket and can focus on finding out what really happened to this amazing man.

How a local can go missing and be found dead in one of busiest places in Baltimore is beyond me! We cannot leave any stones unturned or any video footage left unseen, we NEED answers as to HOW this can happen‼️

Please share and bring attention to this great tragedy. Romain was a SON, a BIG BROTHER, a HARD worker, and FUN LOVING individual. No one deserves to go out like this, no family deserves to wonder what happened to their little boy.
