Help me repair my motorcycle – A dream almost destroyed!

Hello! My name is Dragoș, and I would like to share my story and ask for your help, as I am facing a difficult situation.

Over the years, I have worked hard to save up 7000 RON (Romanian Leu), so I could buy a motorcycle – a dream I’ve had for a long time. After much effort, I managed to pay 4500 RON for the motorcycle, and I used the rest of the money for repairs because it was already damaged: the cylinder head was defective, the piston was broken, and the connecting rod was bent.

I managed to buy a second-hand cylinder head, with the promise that it was in good condition, but unfortunately, it only lasted 4 hours of operation. A valve broke, and now the engine is destroyed once again.

To repair the motorcycle and bring it back to life, I need the following parts:

• Cylinder head: 500 EUR (approx. 2500 RON)

• Cylinder: 250 EUR (approx. 1250 RON)

• Piston + rings: 200 EUR (approx. 1000 RON)

• Connecting rod: 200 EUR (approx. 1000 RON)

• Gaskets: 100 EUR (approx. 500 RON)

The total cost for the necessary parts is 1250 EUR (approx. 5250 RON). All the parts are second-hand because I cannot afford to buy new ones.

Since I am the sole provider for my family and work in Romania, where incomes are limited and I have to pay rent and bills, it is impossible for me to save this amount of money in the next few years. Unfortunately, if I don’t ask for help, it would take me about 4 to 5 years to save this amount on my own.

Now, I need your help! Any amount, no matter how small, will help me repair my motorcycle and continue to pursue my passion.

The money I raise will be used exclusively to buy the necessary parts: cylinder head, cylinder, piston, connecting rod, and gaskets. For me, the motorcycle is much more than just a means of transportation – it is a passion that brings me joy, helps me relax, and escape from daily stress.
