Support Romelia After Lee Barclay's Passing

My name is Tamikia, on behalf of our Senior Clerk Romelia, my co-workers and I have created this page in efforts to support Romelia.

It is with heavy heart that I announce the passing of Lee Barclay. The week of October 6, 2024, one week prior to hurricane Milton hitting Florida, Lee Barclay a United States Veteran had brain surgery. On Monday 10/14/2024 due to hurricane Milton, Lee and his wife Romelia were mandated by County Officials to evacuate their home. Later that said day while in the hotel, Lee fell, hit his head, and was taken to the emergency room where they discovered a blood clot that turned into a brain bleed. Shortly after, Lee was transported to a hospital in Port Saint Lucie and placed on life support. His wife rode out the storm by his bedside hoping for a miracle. Unfortunately, on 10/16/2024 Lee transitioned peacefully surrounded by loved ones and God's warmth. Lee was head of household who took responsibility of their finances. Unfortunately, Romelia's employment status does not entitle her to receive PTO or sick time pay. The money raised by this page would be greatly appreciated in the financial support of Lee's memorial and Romelia's hardship.
