Help Romelia Battle Uterine Carcinosarcoma Cancer

I never thought I’d be writing this, but here I am—asking for help for the woman who has spent her entire life helping others.

 If you know Romelia, you know she is the kind of person who would give you her last dollar, her last meal, or the shirt off her back—without hesitation. She is selfless, loving, and full of warmth. She has always been the heart of our family, the one who makes sure everyone is okay, even when she isn’t. And now, she is facing the biggest fight of her life.

Romelia has been diagnosed with Uterine Carcinosarcoma Cancer, and that alone is an unimaginable battle. But on top of that, she is also suffering from ascites (a painful buildup of fluid in her abdomen) and a blood clot in her lung. Every day is a challenge—one filled with doctor’s visits, medical procedures, and moments of both hope and fear.

She is fighting with everything she has. But we can’t do this alone.

Cancer is not just an emotional and physical battle—it’s a financial one, too. The cost of treatment, hospital stays, medications, and everyday living expenses is overwhelming. What makes this even harder is that my mother has spent her life working tirelessly—often juggling two or even three jobs at a time just to make ends meet. As a single mother, she always put my needs before her own, sacrificing so much to make sure I never went without. But because many of her jobs were part-time or didn’t offer medical insurance, she hasn’t had access to regular healthcare in years. By the time she was finally able to see a doctor, the diagnosis was devastating.

Now, she needs our help.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 to help cover her medical expenses and give her the care she needs.
