Help Ron and Barb with Medical and Home Needs

My name is Shelly, I am the daughter of Ron and Barb Swygert. Over the past couple years, they have both been having so many medical issues.

Since November or so, Ron had been in a nursing home, not able to walk or use his hands much. He had neck surgery a month or so ago in which he was told he’d walk again. Something happened during surgery that has possibly changed his life to where he may never be able to walk again or be able to work his hands in arms like he was able to as well. He has some use of his one hand. Pop’s is in physical therapy to help him “hopefully” gain more range of motion plus be able to use his hands and legs. Mom is not getting around too well herself, with multiple falls. Us kids have started clearing so much out of their house so they can get around where they wouldn’t have been able to.

The floor is not good on their front porch and the ramp that my brother threw together is weakening. Not safe for them at all. With mom using a cane/ walker ant times and my pops in a wheelchair.

We are hoping to get enough money to have a new porch and sturdy ramp built on the front of their house to make it safer for them to make it to and from doctor appointments etc... Any little bit will help if you're able, if not that’s okay. Just help us spread the word. Please keep them in your prayers for their health and well-being.
