Support Ron Townsend: A Big Heart Needs Help

I am Rob Smola (Robert, Boober, Bob, Bobby, etc.) and Joe Smith and I were in a band with Ron Townsend. We felt compelled to reach out to those who know Ron, or even just friends of ours, who might be willing to help a big guy with a big heart.

Ron has recently been in and out of the hospital. As I write this, he is back in the ICU with severe Heart issues and lung problems. As a result of these medical issues, Ron has been unable to work in his field (Logistics). His poor health, need for oxygen, medicine and other essentials have put him in a terrible spot. He is a proud guy and I am sure very embarrassed by all of this.

We are hoping to raise the funds similarly to when our other bandmate, Rich Lafaire, experienced some medical emergencies and had terrible insurance. Richie seems to have rebounded well and some of that is because of the help of our great friends.

We are hoping the same can apply to Ron. Times are rough for lots of folks, but if you have some kindness around, please send it Ron's way.
