My husband Roosevelt Beale passed way unexpectedly on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from a cancerous brain tumor. In early October he complained about headaches and was experiencing chest congestion. He was rushed to the ER on October 12th and diagnosed with pneumonia on October 15th.
After 2 hospital transfers, several tests, x-rays and CT scans he was perscribed a series of antibiotics. However, his overall health, mobility and speech continued to decline. On Novemeber 2nd while still in the hospital the oncologist ordered another CT scan with contrast. This test revealed a large brain tumor diagnosed as cancer. At this stage the tumor was inoperable. It was to late and his condition was considered terminal.
Three years prior I told my husband I bought accident insurance for us both in case we would ever need it. I believe he misunderstand me and thought I purchased a new life insurance policy and he canceled his life insurance. I discovered this after contacting his insurance company while he was in hospice. They informed me that he canceled his insurance in 2021.
We never know what life may bring. My husband and I spent 52 years together. He was my best friend. He was my right hand and my left hand. My partner in joy, and I'll never be the same without him.
My wish is to provide a proper burial for my husband. One that honors him and our life together.
Any level of support is much appreciated.
