Support Roots N Shoots for Greener Future

Hi everyone and welcome to Roots N Shoots! Both Caden and I when we were kids spent much of our time in our backyards gardening. These experiences shaped who we are today, and we would like to share our experiences with our community through creating a gardening initiative to teach the next generation a healthy lifestyle through gardening!

Our purpose when creating Roots N Shoots was to give underserved youth a chance to learn gardening, a hobby they can use for the rest of their lives. This hobby is not something that we found to be easily accessible in underserved communities and we aim to solve this issue by providing community gardens and lessons to get kids up at their feet and enjoy gardening in an interactive way through activities and experiments. We hope that with this project, kids will learn about the impact of agriculture on the environment and how we can create a greener future through choosing healthier habits with regards to what we are planting and with our own diets.
