Support Roots while closed for illness in family
Donation protected

Hey y'all, I own Roots Produce in Evans GA. We are a small family run and veteran owned business that provide fresh local produce, meats, jarred goods, dairy products, and so much more. My mom, who I am very close with, was diagnosed with breast cancer for a second time about 8 months ago. Then quickly metastasized into liver cancer and shortly after brain tumors were discovered. She is now completely bed ridden with hospice coming in twice a day. My family, which is small and spread across the country has been coordinating to be there for her because we want to make sure she is not alone. Due to her condition I have had to be away from the business quite regularly over the past few months. BUT, Family comes first so although a tough and financially detrimental decision, closing has been the only option. This has created an even bigger stress on me and my family. I am asking for donations to help mitigate the loss of not just profit but the loss of product and bills that still have to be paid whether we are open or not. I want to spend as much time as possible with her and anything that y'all can donate would be a true blessing for me, my family, and Roots Produce. I have never done anything like this before but realize sometimes you just have to ask for help. Funds will be used to recoup loss of income, major loss of perishable products, bills that have been made very difficult to pay due to the loss of income and, help with gas, groceries, and other necessities needed to make visits possible and comfortable for her.
