Support RORN's Community Impact Initiatives
Donation protected
The Reach Out Response Network (RORN) has made important strides toward a safer and more compassionate community, promoting non-police mental health interventions across Toronto. Now, over 100 outreach workers are actively supporting communities, showing firsthand the transformative impact of trauma-informed, community-based crisis response.
This fundraiser aims to expand RORN’s work beyond mental health, to support non-police interventions for those experiencing homelessness, intimate partner violence (IPV), and violence against women (VAW). Together, we can ensure that more people receive dignified, compassionate support during their most vulnerable moments.
Why This Matters
By funding non-police crisis intervention, we are addressing systemic gaps in community support and crisis response. These services provide a vital alternative to traditional methods, promoting dignity, autonomy, and safety for everyone involved.
How Donations Will Be Used
Every contribution will go directly toward:
Policy development: Hosting inclusive processes to create new strategies for trauma-informed support
Policy Advocacy: Advancing initiatives to embed these services in communities long-term
Expanding Crisis Intervention Teams: Bringing services to more people in need
Every donation—big or small—makes a difference in helping RORN expand its reach and impact.
