Support Rosa Maria's Medical Journey

We are raising funds for Rosa Maria del Rosario Duran Avila to assist in her recent medical costs. On October 22, 2024, Rosa had a severe seizure, brought on by epilepsy. During the seizure, Rosa fell and hit her head rendering her unconscious. This fall resulted in her head being cut open, and her having to get immediate emergency medical attention. There she received staples in her head, and new medications to help regulate her seizures. She will also have to see a neurologist for further examination and care.

Rosa has been in the process of becoming a U.S Citizen for a while. As most of us know, this process can be difficult and far too lengthy, and during this time people are not eligible for health insurance. Without the aid of health insurance, Rosa’s medical bills are too high for her and her family to manage without assistance due to a broken system. This is where we need the help of all of you!

Rosa is a loving, caring mother and member of her community. She always extends a hand to anyone in need of help and lights up every room with her love so please help us repay her kindness!

We want to be able to take care of her the way she has taken care of us and that will not be possible without your generous donations.

Estamos recaudando fondos para Rosa María del Rosario Durán Ávila para ayudarla con sus recientes gastos médicos. El 22 de octubre de 2024, Rosa sufrió una convulsión grave, provocada por la epilepsia. Durante la convulsión, Rosa se cayó y se golpeó la cabeza, dejándola inconsciente. Esta caída provocó que le abrieran la cabeza y tuviera que recibir atención médica de emergencia de inmediato. Allí recibió grapas en la cabeza y nuevos medicamentos para ayudar a regular sus convulsiones. También tendrá que ver a un neurólogo para que la examine y le brinde atención adicional.

Rosa ha estado en proceso de convertirse en ciudadana estadounidense durante un tiempo. Como la mayoría de nosotros sabemos, este proceso puede ser difícil y demasiado largo, y durante este tiempo las personas no son elegibles para un seguro médico. Sin la ayuda de un seguro médico, las facturas médicas de Rosa son demasiado altas para que ella y su familia las manejen sin ayuda debido a un sistema que no funciona. ¡Aquí es donde necesitamos la ayuda de todos ustedes!

Rosa es una madre cariñosa y atenta y miembro de su comunidad. Ella siempre le tiende una mano a cualquiera que necesite ayuda e ilumina cada habitación con su amor, así que por favor ayúdanos a corresponderle por su generosidad.
