Rose + Rye is growing! Originally a popup concept born in May 2020, this home bakery started with only one item on the menu—Classic Vanilla Nazook made with Sonora wheat. And now there's much MUCH more. Our Medovik (Russian Honey Cake), made with freshly milled Rouge de Bordeaux, has been touted in the LA Times by critic Bill Addison as “spectacular”—an accolade that actually made us cry tears of joy.
The brick and mortar will combine diasporan Armenian baking with our sister company FARINE CAKE STUDIO's custom cakes so we can serve all of your bakery needs for many years to come! We are ecstatic to expand into a storefront and still need some funds for equipment and buildout. We appreciate any and all donations toward opening the bakery of our (and hopefully your) dreams.
