Breast in Peace Rose's Chest

Rose is a 24 year old, transmasc person of color currently living in Portland, OR.

After waiting over a year since they started the process, they finally received a date to undergo top surgery the first week of June. While it is exciting that they are now one step closer to achieving their gender affirming goals, they had expected to get more notice and time to prepare.

Rose works as a seasonal kayak instructor and had expected to continue working in that field but will not be able to for the entire season due to their healing requirements. Because the date is much more sudden than anticipated they are seeking community support to help financially prepare them for this process and ensure they stay housed during their recovery period and search for alternative employment.

If you have been blessed to know Rose personally, you would quickly learn that their love is often shown through action (being airport ride dad, offering moving help, opening up their home, baking/making beautiful food, and bad puns). Their presence has been so cherished and pivotal to so many, and it is so exciting to get the chance to reciprocate some of the love and care that they have given.

The majority of funds will be used to provide housing security. If we are able to reach our goal, a portion of funds will be used to support their primary caretaker who will be flying in and taking time off work to provide a safe recovery for Rose.
