Support Roxanne's Family in Their Time of Need

On the afternoon of June 13th the little house that my father built and where I grew up burned. The cause is not yet determined, but is still under investigation. It was home to my niece Roxanne and her husband Zack and their two toddlers. They had begun to slowly update and turn this house that had stood since the mid-1960s into their home.

The house is uninhabitable in its current state and although the family is fine as they were not at home when the fire started, they did lose Hank one of their Olde English Bulldogs and their cat Dan with the other bulldog Eddie hospitalized for smoke inhalation after the fire company performed CPR.

They are not able to enter the house until the insurance adjuster goes through this week so they don't know what is salvageable at this point, if anything. There is a possibility they can rebuild as the fire inspector stated the structure is solid (basement and framing), but everything else will need to be redone.

Roxanne, Zack and the kids are living in a hotel room for now trying to figure out next steps. They have so much to replace and extra expenses that were not budgeted for. Many have reached out for ways to help and everyone should know that all of it is so very greatly appreciated and it is all a bit overwhelming. Clothes, household goods and other neccessities have been donated and they are thankful for all of it. It is my hope that this provides an easy way for people to assist with expenses, even in a small way. If you are so moved and able, please know that Roxanne, Zack, Quinn, Madilynn, and Eddie as well as our entire family are so very grateful for everyone's kindness, large and small.
