Support Roy’s Battle

Hi there. I’m Roy’s youngest daughter Alysia and I’m asking for any financial help you can give to my parents at this time. My dad has been sick for the past month and was admitted for the third time to French hospital on January 7th. He was diagnosed with Valley Fever along with Coccidioidal Meningitis, which is a fungal infection in the brain. His second day in the hospital he sadly suffered from a big stroke as well as many small ones which caused him to be unresponsive to us and the nurses for a couple of days. Thankfully with the help of so many prayers from our loved ones, the amazing staff at French, and my dad just being the tough cookie that he is, he got a bit better. He is now able to slowly open his eyes, talk to us for a little bit, and is able to slowly move his arms and legs. He still is unable to walk and do basic things we get to do everyday. He spends most his day sleeping and fighting off this infection until it’s fully gone. Once the infection is gone, he is going to have to go to a rehabilitation center to work on the effects from the stroke that has left him with a very changed life. He is still cracking jokes with us and is still the fun loving guy he’s always been, just life will be a bit different for him now. This has been one of the hardest times in my family’s life and with my dad being the main breadwinner between him and my mom, she is facing financial hardships. Anything you guys can give is so very greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support, prayers, and love during this really hard time.
