Greetings from Rutgers University - South Asian Performing Arts, also known as RU SAPA!

We take pride in being a dedicated and passionate competitive collegiate dance team, showcasing our skills in the vibrant world of Bollywood fusion through the Desi Dance Network (DDN). The thrill of being part of a competitive dance team lies in the chance to travel across the country, visit different schools, and not only express our love for dance but also celebrate and showcase our rich cultural heritage.

Exciting news - this year we solidified our position as 2nd place in Bollywood fusion team in the country. This outstanding achievement has earned us a spot at LEGENDS, a prestigious competition where the top 10 teams in the nation vie for the ultimate victory. This year LEGENDS will be taking place in Charlotte, North Carolina. There is also a new and exciting opportunity for all teams competing at LEGENDS. All teams will get a chance to compete with World of Dance at the Opener Round and the placing teams will be invited to compete at the Challenger Round at World of Dance Summit 2025!

To represent our South Asian culture and bring pride to the great state of New Jersey and Rutgers, we are reaching out for support. Your generous donations will be instrumental in covering the cost of over 27 dancers including but not limited to flights, hotels, baggage, transportation, registration frees, medical supplies, production costs, costumes, engaging DJs, and various other expenses essential to our performance.
