Support Ruben's Classroom Recovery in Tampa

Hi everyone,

This is Erik and Adam, and we are reaching out to you today to support our dear friend Ruben Montano-Perez, a dedicated science teacher in Tampa, Florida.

Recently, Hurricane Helene devastated the area, leaving many schools, including Ruben’s, in dire need of basic supplies.

Ruben is passionate about teaching and making a difference in his students’ lives. Despite the challenges, he remains committed to providing a quality education. However, the hurricane has left his classroom without essential supplies, making it difficult for him to continue his important work.

Both Erik and Adam have been good friends with Ruben for a long time. We all know each other through our common friends who we enjoy gaming with and a large social circle of friends. And we all know Ruben's passion for being an educator.

Ruben is a great person and sometimes it is hard for him to ask for help when so many other people deserve to be helped as well.

That is why we are choosing to ask for help from all of you, not for Ruben, but rather for Ruben's students.

Ruben sees several classrooms of students every week in Tampa , Florida. Normally, this is a rather challenging career and job for anyone who is a teacher. Adding to this, the school he teaches in has been affected by the damage of the hurricane. The water and debris left behind have created challenges in the education of the students that were not present before the hurricane. Everyone is doing the best that they can at the moment, but it could be improved greatly.

That being said, we believe that this is an opportunity to show our support for Ruben's students, who mean so very much to him.

We are aiming to raise $500 to help Ruben purchase basic school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, lab materials, and other essentials. Your contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact on the lives of his students and help them get back on track.
