My name is Jazmine Mora and I am starting this Go Fund Me for my brother Ruben Mora-Lopez whom was in a tragic single-vehicle car wreck on Sunday morning heading home to reunite with mom, dad, and family to celebrate moms birthday. However, Ruben never showed up. We did not think much of it since he picks up long shifts frequently, so we just assumed he picked up an extra shift at work. We waited, called and texted, but never heard anything back. We were notified the next day, Monday the 16th,that he was in the hospital under critical condition in the STICU unit. My brother sustained 6 broken ribs, internal bleeding in his brain, kidneys, and lungs, had his spleen surgically removed to reduce his major blood loss, along with a spine fracture. He is currently in stable condition but is unresponsive and there is no time frame for when he will attempt to make any communication. My brother is a hard working young man, he is always in a happy spirit and anyone that knows him can testify that he does not deserve this, no one deserves this. We are broken hearted to see him in this condition with no definite answers to how his healing or treatment will proceed, it will take a long and difficult road to recovery. We would like to ask for help to assist him with the financial burdens that are to come his way, anything and everything helps and is greatly appreciated, even a prayer goes a long way. Thank you to all for taking the time to read about my brothers tragic story. Friendly reminder, we believe this tragedy occurred due to him falling asleep with his foot on the gas pedal. Mi nombre es Jazmine Mora y estoy comenzando este Go Fund Me para mi hermano Rubén Mora-López, quien estuvo en un trágico accidente automovilístico el domingo por la mañana y se dirigía a casa para reunirse con mamá, papá y su familia para celebrar el cumpleaños de mamá. Mi hermano es un joven trabajador, siempre está de buen humor y cualquiera que lo conoce puede dar testimonio de que él no se merece esto, nadie se lo merece. Estamos desconsolados al verlo en esta condición sin respuestas definitivas sobre cómo procederá su curación o tratamiento; tomará un camino largo y difícil hacia la recuperación. Nos gustaría pedir ayuda para ayudarlo con las cargas financieras que se le presentarán, cualquier cosa ayuda y es muy apreciada, incluso una oración es de gran ayuda.
