Support Ruth Fay’s end of life costs

My grandma Ruth Fay passed away June 13 from complications after a emergency surgery on May 3. My mom Ginger Swenson has been her 24/7 live-in caregiver for the past 4 years. My mom is a RN & has 40 years of medical practice and has been at my grandmas side for every medical event and all Dr appointments. Through the years my mom, Ginger has tried to discuss end of life issues and funeral wishes with my grandma &each time she has refused and kept telling my mom everything is paid for and documented all you have to do is read it when I’m gone. Much to the family’s surprise nothing was paid for. My grandma had paid $10,000 into her life insurance policy and than quit paying on it so it became null and void. Only after a few hours after we left the ICU, the funeral home was calling. Our family was not able to have a funeral or follow her wishes. My mom is now responsible to pay on her multiple storage units and get them cleaned out, pay on her all her numerous medical bills, and home repairs that were not paid and many other end of life expenses that there was no money for. some of you have reached out & ask how you can help during this time.
