Support Ruth's Journey After Paul's Passing

Thank you all for taking the time to read this!
I have had the privilege of being neighbors with Paul and Ruth Carter for some time now. They are absolutely wonderful people who have a love of adventure! Due to health issues Paul was recently hospitalized, and yesterday he was released for home hospice. Tragically he passed-on late last night. After speaking with Ruth today, he was calm and was able to go peacefully and without discomfort. He was a believer in the Lord, and there is great encouragement in that! This all happened rather quickly, and that is why I am seeking support. Your generosity will go toward funeral costs and life adjustments for Ruth moving forward.
Paul was born in Michigan in 1955, and moved on to California where he met his wife Ruth. He owned and operated a concrete business from 1999 until his health required him to retire in 2023. Ironically, Ruth says they lived their retirement right after they married! Paul lived every day by his own phrase, “You only live once!”. Whether it was spontaneous trips to San Fran, Lake Parris, Lake Havasu, or Laughlin for a day or 2 weeks, Paul and Ruth lived life together to the FULLEST and always made it work! Ruth was his adventure partner, and as she told me today, “He is my heart!”.
Paul was a husband, father, and grandfather. He had a lot of love to give, and his company will be sorely missed. He loved to talk, whether it was genuine humor or down to earth good advice to anyone that needed it in the moment!
Thank you wholeheartedly for your consideration!
