It's your Andrea/Lady A/Fuki/Dre Dre here to let you know that our Ruth/Wolfie/Ruthina/tRuth, Ruth Frances Greenberg needs help after Hurricane Helene. Ruth herself, in Asheville, NC, is OK and her home is OK.

Her STUDIO IS NOT OK. Totally submerged and destroyed in the flood. It looks also like an earthquake. Check out the photos on her Insta.

I know you all already know the beauty and extraordinarily high quality of this lovey human as well as her ceramic work. You also know that her studio is her livelihood. I ask you to please donate at your comfort level, and perhaps more importantly, to spread the word of this GoFundMe! GoFundMe instructions say that I need to be very specific when fundraising for a natural disaster, so:

1. I started this page on Ruth's behalf/request as she has little to no power/internet/cell service, and no running water for that matter. She lives in NC and I live in Oregon. I am the account creator, and Ruth is set up as the Beneficiary.

2. My relationship to her is longtime friend since college, 1986.

3. I don't know if we set this Fund up correctly as Ruth lives in Asheville, NC but still banks in Oregon. So not sure technically what the website is looking for with "location from where funds will be withdrawn."

4. Funds donated could be used for any manner of Studio Restoration, including, but not limited to, possible:

• Clean-up and salvage services, supplies, disposal and any other fees

• Replacement of supplies and equipment, both office- and product production-related

• Replacement of lost professional references (art, printed material)

• Lost income from projects in progress unable to complete or require starting over, or lack of new projects coming in

• Rent and utilities

• Insurance processing

• Any client-related communications or refunds necessitated by circumstances produced by the flood

• Any other item for the studio deemed necessary by Ruth’s expert professional opinion based on doing this work for over 30 years
