Support Ryan as He Battles Cancer

In just over the past month, what started as what was thought to be a sports-related injury, has turned into a life-changing diagnosis for Ryan and his family.

Ryan has been diagnosed with Chondroblastic Osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer. While Ryan should be wrapping up his last years of High School, hanging out with his friends and participating in the sports and activities he enjoys, Ryan now has to focus on his health. Although he is in good spirits, we cannot imagine what he is going through at such a young age.

As such, many friends and family have asked what they can do to help Ryan. As of right now, the most important need for Ryan's family is to be able to focus fully on Ryan. This means we can help by easing the financial burden that working less and having to travel more has caused.

As of now, this GoFundMe will go directly to Ryan's family and be used for the additional food and travel expenses that they incur due to traveling to and from the hospital.

Although the family may not have time to individually express their gratitude to those who can support them, they are extremely thankful for everyone who is helping them during this difficult time.

My name is Claire and I have had the privilege of knowing Ryan and his family for over a decade. I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of his family, with his Mother's permission, because, understandably, people want to help and this is a convenient way to do so.
