Please Help Support Ryan Leo's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
On Sunday, August 18, 2024, our dear friend, Ryan Leo, age 19 was involved in a sudden and tragic accident that has turned his life upside down. The accident has left him with a broken spine, many internal organs have been damaged, along with mobility issues, and he now faces a long road to recovery that could take months or even years.
Unknowingly to Ryan he was entering an intersection where he was caught in the middle of crossfire between two vehicles that had hit each other. The vehicle that Ryan was
driving was hit by the crossfire along with himself and one other passenger in the vehicle, a third passenger was unharmed however all 3 were left with a lifelong, life-changing traumatic event.
Ryan has been, left with paralysis from his T-12 down due to a gunshot to his spinal cord. Ryan underwent a spinal surgery on 8-20-24 where they fused his T-12 to his L-3.
Ryan will be transferred, to an inpatient rehabilitation center when his time is through in the hospital for an uncertain amount of time.
Ryan is a very loving, kind-hearted, hardworking young man who has always been there for others in their time of need. Now, he needs our help more than ever. The medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and daily living expenses are quickly piling up, and while we are doing everything we can, we know we cannot do it alone, and that is why we are reaching out to our community to ask for your support. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards Ryan's recovery and help ease the financial burden on him and his family.
If you are unable to donate, we completely understand, but please consider sharing this page with your network to help spread the word. Anything helps during this process.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers during this difficult time.
With heartfelt thanks,
Denise Foy
