Support Ryan Monaghan following football injury

On Saturday 29th January Ponteland United Assistant Manager/Player Ryan Monaghan was taken to hospital following a serious injury to his left leg against his former club New Fordley. The sad news is he has suffered a ruptured knee cap with anterior and medial ligament and nerve damage to his left leg. We wish him a full and speedy recovery.

Ryan will now be retired from football and will be off work for the foreseeable future.
