Support Ryan's Fight Against Osteosarcoma
Donation protected
Family and Friends of the Newman family:
I am asking for your prayers and support for my nephew, Ryan Newman, who was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer in his right shoulder. Ryan is 13 years old and the youngest of Tom and Christine's six children. He is a 7th grader at Nativity of Our Lord School, and he enjoys playing basketball, golf, and lacrosse. Ryan is a big sports fan... he loves cheering for the Phillies and the Clemson Tigers. His favorite players are Patrick Mahomes and Steph Curry. Ryan is a kind and caring boy who likes to make others laugh. He enjoys drawing, playing video games, and spending time with his family.
Ryan began his fight against cancer in early December with his first chemo treatment at CHOP. He will continue with chemo infusions for the next 10 weeks, followed by limb-saving surgery and more chemo post-surgery. My sister Christine will be faced with taking an intermittent leave of absence from her work to care for Ryan over the next year. This complication combined with Ryan's medical expenses, will create a financial hardship for the family at a time when their primary focus should be on caring for their child.
Please consider supporting "Team Ryan" and the Newman family with prayers and donations that will allow them to focus on caring for their son. They will gain strength and peace from the outpouring of love and from the community who is embracing them during this time of need.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity!
