Hello,

My name is Ryan Rose. I am an entertainer, having done Broadway tours and sit-down productions as well. Most recently, I worked for a well-known cruise line for nearly 9 years. Unfortunately, our relationship was severed in a way that I’m not fully in agreement with. That being said, being a cruise director was something I would have never imagined myself being, but in time, working as a host, I paid more attention to the role and thought, 'I can do this.' My main purpose, I began to realize, in life was to make others feel joy and fulfillment, which I truly hope I accomplished. So when my career was brought to a screeching halt, I came back home to Rochester, NY, and upon arrival, I began to slip into the deepest depression I had ever been in my entire life. I had no motivation, had a very hard time trusting, as the sole entity I trusted and believed in amongst colleagues as well turned and hurt me so bad. So needless to say, I was not really working; I honestly was a complete mess.

Moving forward about a year, I decided one morning, 'Ok, it’s time. Time to reclaim me.' I asked my higher power to deliver me. I began to Uber and Lyft, making just enough to get by. During this time, I applied at several cruise lines and got no response. Until a few weeks ago, I got a bite. I had three interviews with this company, then the waiting game. I finally reached out for a follow-up. At that moment, I was told they had gone with a different candidate. But the position of presenter host is available. I said, 'Sure, I’ll take it, anything to allow me to really learn the brand so I can represent it to the best of my ability.'

Now, what I’m reaching out for are donations that will help me get my medical exam completed so I am fit for duty. These run between two hundred to thousands and thousands. The icing on the cake is there is not an approved facility where I live, so I have to drive three hours to Pennsylvania to get the exam. So as you can see, quite a few expenses have arrived very quickly, and I need to get everything done rather quickly so I can sign on. Anything you can share would be great.
