Support Ryan's Move to Stability

Help Ryan move to more affordable & accessible housing! Ryan's lease is up at the end of July 2025, and they need your support to find a more survivable living situation. Our goal is $5,000 and we know we can get there with your help!

Ryan is an incredible hot fat trans queer who shows up for community consistently. They live in poverty despite working full time for almost 6 years at a local domestic violence & sexual assault nonprofit. They often don't have money for basic needs like groceries, and their financial debts make finding a new place feel impossible because of high up-front costs like first & last month's rent, security/pet deposits, and application fees. Besides exorbitant rent, their current 3rd-floor-walk-up studio is very inaccessible for their chronic pain.

After exhausting local community financial aid resources, Ryan created a budget to help restructure their life in a way that feels more survivable. The most critical piece of this budget is finding more affordable housing!! Your donations will help pay for upfront moving fees: first & last month's rent, security deposit, pet deposit, U-haul rental. If any funds remain, they will go towards paying off medical debt, and basic needs.

In the last 3 years Ryan has dealt with numerous medical emergencies due to the onset of chronic illness, a rape, a traumatizing psychotic break with police involvement, unexpected medical debt from top surgery, and regular anxieties about losing their job due to chronic illness that can require weeks off at a time.
