My name is Ryen and this is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I am 100% a single parent of a teenage daughter, and have nothing to leave her when I’m gone. After two and a half years of going to the emergency room with symptoms, and seeing a few specialist doctors, I was finally diagnosed late stage Occult Invasive Ductal Carcinoma grade 3 HER2+ grade 3+ ER+ PR-. I am now stage four metastatic breast cancer, and fighting for my life. Previous to my diagnosis I walked away from my job, and benefits due to being sick and unreliable. My family started this fundraiser for me to help with the cost of treatments and cost of living, and recently put me completely in charge of it. I don’t really know what to say, except thank you for your support. My goal is to survive this thing and return to work as soon as possible, I am currently awaiting a decision from social security and financial assistance from the state. I want to live the rest of my life with my daughter to the fullest, and hopefully get well enough to build something to leave behind for her when that time comes.
