My name is Jorge A.KA. "Cubano", fromPunta Sur Divers and as you all know, I am a proud Shark Hero !

We are pleased to announce that together with a frenzy of Shark Heroes , Saving Our Sharks and the Kab Xok Cooperative we are launching a massive campaign to promote shark conservation and sustainable tourism in Quintana Roo.

The Kab Xok Cooperative, a group of former shark fishermen, is dedicated to stop fishing sharks and transition towards nature tourism. Your support is crucial to help them succeed in this endeavor.

As pro divers, we also know how hard it is to get a tourism diving boat ready! We wish to enjoy more and more shark sightings in Cozumel, as we have recently as a result of the Kab Xok´s conservation efforts and commitment to #SharksOffTheHook .

Our Fundraising Approach:

Equipment for the Ecotourism Boat including flares, fire extinguishers, anchors, buoys, life jackets and radios. This equipment is essential to ensure safety during ecotourism activities.
