Support Saige's Fight Against Leukemia

Aloha - my name is Kristen, and my family and I are raising funds for my niece, Saige, who has been recently diagnosed with blood cancer.

On July 31, 2024, we received the devastating news that our Saigie has leukemia. She has been transferred to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she will undergo further testing and begin her treatment journey. At this moment, we don’t yet know the specific type of leukemia she has, and we are awaiting additional test results to determine her treatment plan.

Saige is originally from Oahu, HI, but now resides in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This fall, Saige would have traveled back to Massachusetts to Lasell University, where she would have began her junior year. She not only excels academically on a scholarship, but is also a part of the Lasell University Women’s Volleyball team. Sadly, her diagnosis means she will need to take a break from her studies and athletic pursuits while she focuses on her health and recovery.

As Saige, her parents Shay and Kaleo, and her younger brother Slayter navigate this difficult time, our families are coming together to provide them with the utmost support. Funds raised will go directly to helping them ease the financial burden of medical bills, treatment, medicine, travel, lodging, etc.

We deeply appreciate any support, whether financial or otherwise, and ask for your continued prayers for Saige's strength, comfort, and healing. We remain optimistic and keep our hopes high. This is a curable disease, and we believe that she's going to beat it! But as we all know, the fight against cancer is not a sprint, but a marathon... the road ahead is a long one and we thank you for your continued love, support, and kindness.
