Support Sajini's Battle Against Cancer

Dear Friends and Family,

Our cousin, Sajini, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. This was something that was completely unexpected in her life.

She was feeling sick for some time and this diagnosis was a shock for her. She has been in and out of the hospital the past few weeks and the care team has been running many tests to figure out the origin of this cancer.

We are still waiting for test results and for her doctors to come up with a plan, but what we do know is that this is an aggressive form of cancer. It has spread to quite a bit of her body and has impacted her day to day life. While she is still able to work, it will be minimal hours and limited to working from home. However, the treatments and medical bills still continue and this is why we are asking for your help.

For those of you who know Sajini, you know that she is a cheerful person. She’s warm, friendly and the first one to start dancing at family gatherings (at any gathering, actually). She loves to crack jokes and bring smiles to everyone. Sajini is welcoming and takes the time to talk to everyone, making everyone feel at home. She has a knack for making people feel at ease with her kind heart and warm spirit. Sajini has always been the type to put others before herself, offering help and support to friends and family whenever needed. Her infectious laughter and vibrant personality are things that everyone who knows her will remember fondly. She’s the kind of person who lights up a room; her presence is felt and loved.

Sajini is someone whose deep faith in God shines through in every aspect of her life. She not only holds a strong belief but also consistently demonstrates it through her actions. It’s embodied through her kindness, compassion, and integrity that reflect her spiritual devotion. Whether it's through a simple act of helping others or through her unwavering commitment to prayer, Sajini continually spreads the word of God, inspiring those around her. Her life serves as a testament to the power of faith, as she quietly but powerfully impacts her community, always living in alignment with her spiritual beliefs.

First and foremost, we ask for prayer. With uncertain days ahead, we are leaning into faith and trusting that God’s presence will guide and sustain her every step of the way. Please pray for peace that surpasses understanding, strength to endure the difficult days, and for God’s comforting presence to be felt in a deep and tangible way. Sharing uplifting scriptures has been a great source of encouragement for her, so that is another meaningful way to offer support.

Despite her strength, Sajini is now facing the difficult reality of financial strain. As she goes through treatments and focuses on her health, she is not eligible for insurance or benefits, which has made the financial burden even heavier. This is where we, her family and friends, are hoping to rally together to support her during this incredibly challenging time.

On top of facing this battle herself, Sajini is also the proud mother of a daughter who is currently in college. As you can imagine, this is an incredibly challenging time for her family. Sajini’s daughter, who is working hard to pursue her education, also needs financial support to help cover living and school expenses. We are asking for your help so that Sajini can focus on her health and her daughter can continue her education without added financial stress.

The road ahead will be long and uncertain, but we know that with the support of the people who love her, Sajini can fight through this.
