Support Sal Castro & Family's Medical Expenses

Hello friends,
Our dear friend & brother in the movement Sal Castro Sr. was recently admitted to the ICU on December 27th after contracting COVID and suffering a stroke. He is currently still in critical condition and unresponsive.
Throughout his time in the South Bay community, Sal could be found volunteering his time at organizations like PACT San Jose, PICO California, Sacred Heart, and many other local advocacy organizations aiming to create a more just, safe, and affordable community. He could always be counted on to provide a testimony in front of elected leaders or lend a helping hand to help those in need. Whatever the case, Sal was always there.
Sal is an indispensable part of so many of our movements for social justice with an unwavering commitment to the cause, whether it be for ending human rights violations, assisting our immigrant communities, or advocating for more affordable housing.
Beyond his immense capacity to give, Sal has been a light in our movements, bringing with him a smile and energy that could lift the spirits of all. Selfless and dedicated, Sal always put others before himself. "My dad's purpose in life has always been focused on serving his community and those around him." -Sal Castro Jr.-
Our hopes, thoughts and prayer go to Sal and his family during this difficult time. Join us in helping support his family as money donated would be used towards any medical expenses and care for Sal. Any additional donations will go towards his favorite causes and charities. Sal - we hope for speedy and successful recovery!
With much love & care:
