Support Salathia's Children After Tragic Loss
Donation protected
We are heartbroken to share the tragic news of the passing of our beloved friend and fellow realtor, Salathia Brittian, who was an extraordinary beacon of light in our community. She was a woman whose radiant smile and unwavering positivity touched everyone she met. Salathia was deeply devoted to her family, her faith, and her work, always striving to make the world around her a better place. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she never hesitated to extend a helping hand to anyone in need. Whether it was in her professional life or her personal connections, Salathia embodied the spirit of compassion and kindness.
Tragically, Salathia's life was cut short in an unimaginable act of violence, a victim of domestic abuse that culminated in a murder-suicide. Despite the challenges she faced, she remained steadfast in her desire to create a safe and loving environment for her children. Her courage in the face of adversity was an inspiration to all who knew her. Salathia wanted nothing more than to build a brighter future for her children, but this senseless act has stolen her away from them far too soon.
Salathia leaves behind a family who now must navigate the world without her guiding presence. Her eldest son, 25, a new father himself, her son who is a senior in high school, and her daughter who just started 4th grade, are left to grapple with this profound loss. She also leaves behind a precious new granddaughter who will never have the chance to know his amazing grandmother. Our hearts break for her family, especially her children, who were her greatest pride and joy. They are now facing an uncertain future without the loving support and care of their mother.
Below is a link from the Atlanta News First article announcing the celebration of Salathia's life by her family and friends. This gathering not only honors her memory but also raises awareness about the critical issue of domestic violence within our community. As we come together to remember Salathia and the joy she brought into our lives, we also stand united in the fight against the violence that took her from us too soon. Let us use this moment to both grieve and inspire change, ensuring that her legacy is one of hope, love, and lasting impact
