Support Salem's Family in Crisis

Hello. My name is Salem, and, as many of you are aware yourselves, things are really tough right now. I'm a 23, nearly 24 year old woman working as a busser at a restaurant, and my meager salary is almost exclusively what's supporting my family. My brother works, but it's inconsistent and typically less than thirty hours for a full week of pay. Our mother is disabled and medically unable to work.

We're a family of three living out of a hotel room because rent prices have skyrocketed, and although it isn't perfect, it's relatively stable. The only reason we've achieved this meager sense of stability is due to our car, a 2012 Toyota Camry, which has been repossessed and stands a very large chance of being auctioned off on February 21st, leaving us stranded in a hotel on borrowed time.

I know I'm not a unique case, but the stress of keeping everything afloat is eating me alive, and at times it feels truly hopeless. Most people my age are graduating or putting themselves through higher education, but the hand that I've been dealt hasn't afforded me that luxury.

I'm reaching out to the community for help, because I'm at my wit's end. The ride never stops, and I'm hoping beyond hope that some goodwill from strangers can turn my life into something a little less bleak.
