Support Sally Carlson

On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, Sally was driving her car. She planned on doing errands for a birthday dinner at her daughter's house when she was hit by another vehicle. Sally was taken to the hospital via ambulance. Sally sustained a multitude of injuries and is currently in the ICU where she is being evaluated and given the proper care.

Sally is one of Long Bayou's unforgettable people. She is known for her nature photography and many of her photos are shown on the Long Bayou Facebook page. Sally and her dog, Sweet Pea, are a welcoming sight when walking the area. She has many friends because of her kind and caring nature. Sally always gives from her heart.

Her constant companion, Sweet Pea is fine and being cared for. Sally loves her children, grandson, and sister more than anything. They are by her side.

Sally will do anything to help anyone and now she needs our help. She will be in a body cast for some time. She will require many doctor's appointments, occupational and physical therapy with a minimum recovery period of one year. Her 10-year car was totaled in the accident. Even though Sally has insurance, it won't cover all the costs. Please support Sally and her family so they can rest a little easier. Thank you.
