Support Saltbox Farm's Greenhouse Project
Donation protected
Hello Family & Friends,
Many of you know that I have decided to pursue my own farming endeavor, and I am very fortunate to have such an ideal situation here at Saltbox Farm in Concord. I'm running a small market garden, selling vegetable and herbs to mostly restaurants and a small CSA program this year. So many family, friends, and the surrounding farming community have been more than supportive of me!
I am looking to add a small greenhouse structure to my field production, (technically called a caterpillar tunnel) of which the cost will be around $4,500. The grants I have applied to with the federal service NRCS (Natural resource conservation service), have been unable to assist this project.
Fortunately I don't have large capital intensive projects relying on these kinds of services, and the farm has been financially self-sustaining. Any level of support you may be able to provide however, is more than appreciated and will help Saltbox Farm meet it's business goals, while continuing to serve our local food system.
Please let me know if you have any questions. All of our growing and business practices are holistically designed. This means that we have a longer term vision of enhancing our ecosystem and relationships with our customers, while being economically sustainable. The land itself is very beautiful and welcoming during the summer, thus let me know if you're interested in visiting!
