Support Sam and Kacie’s Stroke Recovery Journey

My son Sam Hayes had a stroke in July. He is 39 and has 2 sons. He has worked at the same job for 19 years. It has been a long road for him. He couldn’t work for 2 months because of short term memory loss and balance issues. It’s been hard for him to make all of his payments and maintain all of his responsibilities. It is very overwhelming because he has always been such a hard worker and such a good dad. He has had so many traumatic things hit him one after another. In October he had another stroke episode and now he can’t work at all. Adding to the anxiety that he is already facing, his fiancée also had a stroke in October. He can’t even comprehend not only the financial devastation, but also the emotional and medical toll it has taken on him. He is struggling so much right now, we are trying to help him hold it together, but it is extremely hard for him to face every day with so much going against him.
