Support Samantha & Bruno After Fire Loss

Paul and I are setting up this GoFundMe to support our dear friends and Altadena neighbors, Samantha, Bruno, Kyran, and Laila, who tragically lost their home in the Altadena Eaton Fire this past week. Along with so many others in our community, they’ve endured a devastating loss that will take time, strength, and resources to overcome. It is hard to capture what they and so many others are going through with words, this experience has been overwhelming and heartbreaking for our community.

As they work to recover from this devastation, they face significant hardships, including the challenge of unexpected costs and the reality of having to start over. They are hopeful to be able to also offer support to neighbors and their community. Samantha and Bruno have always given so much to others—Samantha as a compassionate social worker and therapist, and Bruno as a facilities director who helped evacuate senior residents during the fire, even while his own family was displaced. Now, they find themselves in need of the same care and generosity they’ve so freely shared with others.

The outpouring of love, support, and encouragement they’ve received so far has been truly heartwarming, and they are deeply grateful for every kind word and gesture.
